I’m a product manager who loves trying to solve big problems. My background is in business and technology – while at high school I built websites for small businesses and I graduated with a degree in Business Information Systems from Monash University.
I spent the first few years of my career as a management consultant before moving overseas to run a social enterprise in Nicaragua. I currently work at Yume, where our mission is to create a world without waste. I was the first employee and my first task was to create a job title, so I’m officially the Chief Waste Warrior but am also known as the Head of Product and Process.
I enjoy interfacing between business and technology functions, getting my head into the data and running workshops with lots of sticky notes. I also project managed our Series A round and relished learning about the process of raising capital, from pitching to term sheets.
I’ve spoken at a number of events on topics including food waste and recovery, tech startups and impact investment. I’ve spent time volunteering in Australia, Fiji and Panama and am always on the lookout for interesting projects.
I love to travel, experience new cultures and meet interesting people. I’m currently working remotely from South East Asia. I also love:
- Food (cooking and eating)
- The Hawks
- 90’s Hip Hop
